DNS Problems in Windows 10 (SOLVED)

If you are having problem in connecting to the internet via your Wi-Fi and you ran out of idea as to how to solve it, the DNS might be the culprit behind it.

You can try to see if this solution solves your problem:

1. Click the start button then type: Network Status.


2. Below the Advance Network Settings choose: Change Adapter Options.

3. Right-click to your respective Wi-Fi adapter's name then click Properties.

4. From the connections left-click on the IPv4 (Internet Protocol Version 4)

    (make sure IPV4 is highlighted)

5. Then click properties



6. Click on use the following DNS server addresses then write the needed primary and secondary addresses below


7. You can choose from these free DNS servers, just make sure you use the same server for your primary and secondary DNS addresses:

All DNS are functioning as of 2/14/2022

Google
Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8 
Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4

Cloudfare
Primary DNS: 1.1.1.1
Secondary DNS: 1.0.0.1

Quad9
Primary DNS: 9.9.9.9
Secondary DNS: 149.112.112.112
